Contribute to the Event by Presenting Your Organisation! A Talent Fair will be set up to showcase the diversity of activities talent support organisations do in different countries.
Saturday, April 9th, is the 1st EU TalentDay. This is an occasion for teachers, mentors, coaches, parents, children, young and old to come together in a community setting and celebrate the achievments our young ones and their educators have added to our communities. Whether small and easy or massive and spectacular, local TalentDays are events when people get together and celebrate talents and their educators.
This year the central event of the 1st EU TalentDay is celebrated in Budapest as the climax of the three day conference on gifted and talented education. As one of the prominent part of the event, a Talent Fair will be set up to showcase the diversity of activities talent support organisations do in different countries.
As we would like to create opportunities for people from different countries, different talent support organisations to meet, express themselves, share stories, present activities and achievments, and most importantly, have a good time, we would like to encourage all organisations and countries interested to find out creative ways to showcase themselves on the line of booths set up for this purpose. As there are about 250 people expected to participate in the event from all around Europe and beyond, we would like to encourage organisations to get their information brochures, leaflets, posters, ppp-s, short video-presentations ready and use the opportunity to share the knowledge, stories, achievments and challenges they have learned from with the people they come in contact during the day.
„Alright! I’d love to share the stories of my organisation! How can I contribute to the event?”
There are many ways you can contribute:
- Idea Share: Some organisations have already been invited to present themselves in a fast-paced presentation format during the Idea Share section of the day. These are organisations that we think might be inspiring to their peers working in the field of gifted and talented education.
- Spread the word about the event: Whether you write for the Economist or have a blog, share your experience of local TalentDays with the world! Also, if you blog regularly about issues related to gifted and talented education, consider letting us know and we will list you at our Partners section.
- Present your organisation at the Talent Fair: Another way of contribution is to present the activities of your organisation at the Talent Fair. We create the space for all countries and organisations are welcome to contribute with any printed or digital materials (brochures, leaflets, booklets, molinos, ppp-s, short video-presentations etc.) that they either send us beforehand the event or leave at the organisers when arriving to the first day of the conference. Please consider the number of people visiting, so do not forget to provide 20 items of advertising materials a minimum.
